I am the Webmaster and Artist

Responsibilities: management of my own art business and corresponding website by designing/deploying database architecture and applications written in ColdFusion MX (ie. UDFs, CFCs, CFscripting), JavaScript, html and SQL including a fully secure intranet where I can write/send out emails to filtered contacts lists, insert/edit/delete my contacts/artwork/art shows. My site draws customers to my art gallery here in San Francisco.

Sightopia(now deceased/reowned): February 2000-February 2001 via eMergingMedia(now deceased/reowned)

This site was an eyewear ecommerce site where you could purchase contact lenses or frames.
Their site had client-side widgets where you could upload you image and "try on" different eyeglasses as well as many other creative applications.

Responsibilities: created and worked with javascript arrays of product and user information, and made customized shopping carts.

Again, this site got bought by another company and is no longer viewable.

TapeTrader:2000-2001 via eMergingMedia(now deceased/reowned)

TapeTrader allow members to link themselves with other members who have the same tastes in music to trade shows of their favorite bands and djs on tape, CD, DAT, etc. Responsibilities: created several creative ways to search these artists, where a member can come to the site with a couple syllables and find the artist or member that they are looking for;
laidout and designed the database in SQL.
created the code for the searches, and applications in ColdFusion.
Most importantly, worked with the client, himself, to lend ideas to make the site more fun, practical, efficient and helpful for members to trade.

iKnowMed(now deceased/reowned):2000-2001 via eMergingMedia

This project involved creating software for doctors and their offices to internally manage charts, scheduling, diagnosing, etc.

Responsibilities: wrote these applications in HTML, DHTML, and object-oriented javascript for ie5.5 only, rearranged and recoded the widgets to look, feel and act like what the client wanted.

Stubhub:2001

Stubhub is where fans can search for tickets to buy or sell to fellow members of their global community. I was one of four software engineers working on stubhub.com and its LiquidSeats software application.

Responsibilities: database architecture design & deployment, business integration and process management, software development of LiquidSeats, building and deployment of the dynamic internet applications on stubhub.com with content publishing systems, SSL-secure self-service applications, and e-commerce services using ColdFusion, Java, Oracle and html;

Rewards2K(now deceased/reowned):2000-2001 via eMergingMedia(now deceased/reowned)

This site was a shopping portal. Members accumulated points by going through Rewards2K to shop at other sites. Once members had enough points, they could use them to get Palm Pilots, and other goodies.

Responsibilities: constructed admin tools which looked pretty and allowed you to add, delete and move different merchants (double points merchants, bonus points merchants, homepage merchants, logo merchants, etc.) around to different levels within the site,
designed the admin tools look and feel with html and javascript.
laidout and designed the database to keep track of merchants' changing status using SQL.
created the applications that moved the merchants from one status to another in ColdFusion, while making sure that there were a certain number in each status category, uploaded images for their pages, created the DHTML layers to dynamically generate the look and feel for the home page, incorporated ColdFusion and javascript to dynamically generate bonus point layers, double point layers and logo merchant layers, recreated the animated gif that appeared on the home page when you rolled over "2.Shop".

Again, the site is now dumbed down due to money issues so none of this is viewable.
