Founded and operated LA HOT Magazine, a multimedia startup integrating print publication, custom web platform, mobile application, membership access, and commercial production. Served as Founder, Editor, Engineer, Creative Director, and Executive Producer—overseeing product development, UX design, content strategy, brand identity, and distribution across web and major app marketplaces.
The Challenge
Launching a cohesive brand that bridged physical print media with digital mobile distribution, while independently building the technical platform, producing commercial content, and assembling a global creative network.
The Solution
Built cohesive digital experiences across web and mobile, aligning UX, brand, and content strategy to create a unified multimedia platform. Integrated membership access to digital issues and LA HOT talent network. Launched a website, mobile app, produced two print editions, executive-produced photo shoots and commercial campaigns, wrote editorial and advertising content, and managed a distributed team of creatives and contributors. Established distribution across major app marketplaces and direct print channels.
The Result
Achieved 100,000+ app downloads by the second issue. Successfully released two hard-copy magazine editions. Built a global network of contributors and talent. Demonstrated full-stack execution across product, brand, content, and distribution.
