    Overview

Pavemint is a parking management and e-commerce platform solving the gap between available parking and effective monetization software—from individual property owners to enterprise venue management.

In the Tech Lead role, architected, developed, and deployed new applications, new features, and enhancements to the company's e-commerce web applications built to scale with AWS CloudFront using Lambda@Edge Amplify triggered off of Github actions. Oversaw outsourced team varied from 8-12 engineers. Mentored engineers on & off shore.

    Parking E-Commerce Platform Modernization

Led modernization of a performance-constrained e-commerce platform to support high-traffic stadium launches and rapid feature experimentation.

    The Challenge

Legacy architecture limited performance, experimentation, and observability ahead of major live event launches.

    The Solution

Rebuilt core pages using Next.js and GraphQL, introduced A/B and MVT experimentation tooling, and implemented production-level observability and performance optimization practices.

    The Result

    • 2x Lighthouse performance scores.

    • Enabled rapid A/B and MVT experimentation.

    • Unified UX across applications via shared design system.

    • Reduced technical debt and improved release confidence

    ATXFC Q2 Project:

Tech lead of refactoring the legacy event and venue landing pages of the main parking application into a new Next.js React TypeScript application using Next.js' Static Site Generation (SSG) and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) with Storybook components with Material UI components and theme. Ready for launch with Q2 Stadium in Austin opening where Christen Press scored the first ever goal in the stadium. Improved performance: doubled lighthouse scores from legacy event and venue pages.

    Architected, developed and deployed single-handedly

    • Event and venue landing pages with Next.js Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) to GraphQL query event and venue details to construct the static paths for each landing url revalidated every ~60 seconds for updates without having to redeploy the entire site.

    • Stand alone component library on internal interactive Storybook main and dev sites for easier design review and unit testing prior to deployment.

    • Sentry bug tracking application level with tracing down to Github commit.

    • Google Analytics tracking application level as well as functionality to track more granular CTA performance.

    • Google Optimize for A/B testing, multivariate (MVT) and other marketing needs.

    • GitHub actions for automation CI/CD to AWS Amplify.

    • Next.js Server Side Rendering for querying Prismic content.

    • Data integration with SeatGeek captured event and venue details.

    • Administrative features to hide/show/edit events and venues with React Admin.

    • Administrative features to hide/show/edit parking lots with event level granularity with React Admin.

    • Jest for unit testing set up in Next.js application for outsourced QA Jest Engineer.

"I would like to take a moment to share my experience working with my former senior, Stephanie Spanjian. Stephanie was not only an expert in Next.js, Gatsby, React, advanced design patterns, and DevOps, but she was also a fantastic leader and mentor. Stephanie's technical skills were impressive, but what really stood out was her ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas. She was always patient and willing to help, and her guidance and support were instrumental in my professional growth. Working with Stephanie was a pleasure because of her collaborative and inclusive approach. She encouraged open communication and valued everyone's input, making sure that everyone on the team felt heard and appreciated. In summary, I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a senior with exceptional technical skills, leadership, and communication abilities. She is a true professional and an asset to any team."
